EU Comenius - projekt "Život minorit s námi, nebo vedle nás?"

Ours was the conclusive meeting of the two-year project. It was held here in Sicily from the 2nd to the 6th of June 2014.

The members of our communities: mayors, local representatives, our head teacher, teachers, students and parents took part in the event.

The students prepared posters and entertained our guests by performing folklore, modern dances and traditional Sicilian music, they also briefly illustrated the activities realized in each meeting, which were also the topic of a booklet that our school printed and handed out to our partners at the end of this final meeting.

An important part of the event was the meeting of the coordinators in which the partners discussed about the outcomes of the project and the final report.

Two one-day excursions to visit two important world heritage sites: M. Etna and the Aeolian islands were organized, all the participants were interested in these sites and enjoyed the guided visits.

The conclusion of the meeting was in Tripi (a small village in the mountains where our Institute has a little multiclass school), and all the villagers took an active part in entertaining the Comenius team, offering them local products and creating an amazing atmosphere.
